The following simple instructions and links will guide you smoothly through the process to setup and register your new IREX Digital Reader.

Step 1: MYIREX Account Setup

A MYIREX Account is used to securely deliver content (like eBooks, newspapers, and magazines) directly to your device.

  1. Click on the MYIREX Account Setup button below and choose Create an Account to register.
  2. When finished, make a note of the username and password that you created and then proceed to Step 2.

Step 2: Barnes & Noble Account Setup

You will need a Barnes & Noble account in order to purchase books and magazines from the Barnes & Noble eBook store. If you already have an account, please go directly to Step 3. If you need a Barnes & Noble Account:

  1. Click on the Barnes & Noble Account Setup button below.
  2. Click on Create an Account and enter the information requested.
  3. Click on Create an Account & Continue.
  4. Under Payment Settings, click on Manage Credit Cards.
  5. Click on Add New Credit Card. Enter the card type, card number and expiration date. Check the box to make this the default credit card.
  6. Click on Add a New Billing Address and enter the billing address of the credit card used. You will also be asked to enter the First Name and Last Name for the card holder associated with this billing address.
  7. Make a note of the First Name, Last Name, and Credit Card Number that you used to create your Credit Card Billing Address in your Barnes & Noble Account, and then proceed to Step 3.

Step 3: Registering your Device

  1. On your IREX Digital Reader, go to the Home screen and choose Settings.
  2. Choose MYIREX Account.
  3. Enter the email address and password that you used to create your MYIREX Account in Step 1.
  4. Click on Save.
  5. Click on to Settings.
  6. Click on B&N Secure eBook Account.
  7. Enter the First Name, Last Name and Credit Card Number that you used to setup your Credit Card Billing Address in your Barnes & Noble Account in Step 2. The first name, last name, and credit card information must exactly match or you may not be able to open content purchased from the Barnes & Noble eBook store.
